Sometimes I get people who ask if I'm able to pull a few strings for them so they can get their cookers a little earlier.

And I get it - when you buy something new, you want to use it right away. But that's not always possible. Especially if it's a custom-built cooker.

However, there was a lovely lady who visited just before Christmas...

She'd always wanted a new range cooker and after a little browsing, she picked out the Everhot 90i as the one for her.

When placing her order, she off-handedly remarked how she'd love to have it in time for her 82nd birthday...

And so I felt like I simply had to make it happen.

As soon as she left, I was on the phone with the manufacturers to see what we could do. And - to cut a long story short - we got the Everhot delivered to her right on her 82nd birthday, and with plenty of time left to bake the cake!

I wish I could promise a swift turnaround like this for everyone, but it doesn't always happen...
