We all love a warm kitchen... but maybe not when it's already 24°C outside.
So, as the days get longer and the weather (theoretically) warms up, you might start to worry about a range cooker making your kitchen feel like a sauna.
But trust me, that’s not going to be the case. Not if you make a few small tweaks to the settings to get it summer-ready.
Here’s what I recommend to keep your Everhot running smartly through the warmer months:
It automatically dips into a lower power mode overnight, reducing heat output and saving energy.
Tap (don’t hold) the ECO button. When the green light flashes, Auto-Eco is on.
Here’s a quick video if you’re not sure.
Not using them? Flick them off. They’re stainless steel, so it won’t do any harm. And it’ll make a noticeable difference to both the room temp and your electricity bill.
Dial the hotplates down for an instant reduction in heat. And if you’ve got an “i” model, use your induction hob for most of the day-to-day cooking. It’s fast, energy-efficient, and won’t blast heat into the room.
So there you go – a few simple tweaks to keep things cool without having to unplug your cooker until September.
Any questions, feel free to reply and I’ll help however I can.
Warm regards,
Andy
