It seems like every year there's always a new trend that surprises me.
In the past fortnight, two separate couples have walked into the showroom, browsed through all the usual favourites – creams, blacks, greys – and then stopped dead at exactly the same colour…
Dusky pink.
Now, what might surprise you is that these two couples both had very different kitchens.
One of them was modern with clean, contemporary, soft neutrals. The other was the complete opposite – imagine your traditional kitchen with lots of beautiful pale oak cabinetry.
And yet dusky pink fit them both.
That's what I like about it. It's a bit unexpected, but not outlandish. It doesn't scream for attention. It just works.
And I think after years of creams, greys and “playing it safe”, some people are ready for something with a bit more personality – without going full pillar-box red (although that is an option too!).
So if you're in the midst of a kitchen rethink and wondering how to bring a bit of warmth and character into the space, perhaps take a look at dusky pink.
And if pink's not for you, there's plenty more to choose from…
You'll find the full range of Everhot colours in the showroom – perfect for holding up against sample kitchen units, worktops, tiles or flooring to see how they really look and feel in natural light.
Come by any time.
Warm regards,
Andy
P.S. If you're tempted by the idea of something a bit bolder, but not sure what would suit your kitchen, pop in the showroom.
P.P.S. I'll be at the Bucks County Show with the Everhot trailer next Thursday. If you'll be coming along, please stop by and say hello!
